Inspirations
Dolce & Gabbana
Dolce & Gabbana was my entrance into the fashion world. They were the first designers that I fell in love with, and subsequently decided to study more of it, hoping to find more art to become enamored with.I always loved how their aesthetic leaned towards baroque. Despite this, they still incorporate a number of modern attributes. In more recent lines, they've had a consistent theme of black and gold. Spring 2025 appears to be them going back to form.

Marchesa
A heavenly designer that is more nostalgic than anything. I feel like I have long since outgrown Marchesa's designs, but I always enjoy myself when revisiting. I remember when I first showed K this, they were in awe of Marchesa's wedding designs.Of course, your wedding should be special. For me, Marchesa was left behind solely because I tended towards more androgynous aesthetics. However, I can appreciate a beautiful line when I see one.

Zuhair Murad
A new favorite of mine! I actually took quite a long break from being totally updated on the new seasons, so when I discovered them after a few years away from VOGUE, I immediately fell in love.Zuhair Murad is so delightfully extravagant in all their work, with gaudy details that make my heart sing. It almost looks tacky, just how I like it. I hope that you will enjoy them as much as I do! I will be keeping an eye out for all their future collections for sure.

I remember when Spring 2020 Couture blew up on Twitter, I had that thought: I was there first!!! I liked it before it was cool!!! Because it's true, really. I've loved Elie Saab for as early as 2018... Which, okay, isn't that early in perspective.However, they WERE one of my first favorites, and I still love them to this day. The elegance of their designs is so unique to them. Embracing androgyny just as high fashion lines should.

An old favorite of mine, but when I revisit them, it's usually their older lines. There's something so incredibly art deco about their older lines that cannot be found in their newer lines.I remember when I first saw their works, and thought to myself that it was such an incredible gender envy. Though I wish they would resume the vibe their older lines carried, I'm also okay with peering at their newer creations from time to time.

2022 Valentine's
For Valentine's week of 2022, I created a series of illustrations for my favorite pairing from Epic Seven: Krau and Sigret.In this series of illustrations, they are both agents of cupid, tasked only to monitor and police Love. For this occasion, I dressed them in pink, with rose-tinted lenses, and heart-shaped earrings that acted as part of their "soul".In their contract with cupid, they are meant to only assist in enforcing the laws of Love. They are forbidden, therefore, to fall in love themselves.Under this premise of being rival agents of Cupid, they were always in a fierce competition despite being partners with a common goal. Krau's confident and lighthearted often made it seem like he was weighing Sigret down, as she is goal oriented and much more serious than he....Much to Cupid's dismay, he picked up his bow and arrow, having realized where Krau was headed with that bouquet.Being shot out of sky rid the two of their purpose they've lived for all this time.Perhaps there will be happiness in another life.
